The launch event for ISE 2027 has revealed that exhibition floor space is already 7% larger than in 2026. The show is maximising the available space at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, including exhibition booths both in the East Access, following its success in 2026, and a new Outdoor Structure at South Access.
Integrated Systems Events is also expanding beyond Gran Via into Hall 8 of Fira Montjuïc, reflecting continued demand for the show and creating additional opportunities to bring new communities and disciplines into the ISE ecosystem. The expansion is therefore not simply about physical growth. It enables ISE to broaden its reach into areas of the industry that
are increasingly connected to AV.
One of the clearest examples of this approach is Spark, which returns on 3–4 February 2027 with a significantly expanded programme at Fira Montjuïc.
Spark connects the AV industry with the creators, commissioners and technologists shaping the experiences that ultimately drive demand for AV technology, spanning creativity and content across media, entertainment,
live events, gaming and advertising. Its focus spans:
• Creative Technology
• Immersive Experiences
• Content
• Entertainment
• Gaming
• AV
It’s 2027 programme will feature two
stages, an immersive pavilion and live showcases across an increased show floor.
For 2027, ISE is expanding its content programme to give different audiences more ways to explore the issues shaping the industry, broaden their perspectives and connect with new ideas. The paid content programme will be focused around:
Megatrends: The Megatrends programme will double in size for
2027. It will bring together subject matter experts to explore issues including:
• AI
• Robotics & Machine Learning
• Cybersecurity
• Smart Spaces
• Sustainability
•
Tradescape
Specialist programme: Three dedicated half-day summits will focus on:
• Digital Signage
• Cybersecurity
• Control Rooms
Following the same principle, ISE 2027 announces its keynote programme made up of:
Tuesday: Business Keynote
Mo Gawdat: Former Chief Business Officer at Google [X],
four-time international bestselling author, founder of One Billion Happy, Chief AI Officer at Flight Story and co-founder of Emma.Love.
Wednesday: Partner Keynote
Crestron will bring FC Barcelona’s CIO Miriam Ferrando to the stage, exploring the role technology plays in one of the world's most prominent sporting and entertainment environments.
Thursday: Creative Keynote
ISE's Creative Keynote will bring a
creative perspective to the programme, with the artist connected to ISE's work with Casa Batlló to be announced at a later date.
ISE is also introducing a new ISE VIP experience for 2027. The experience is deliberately limited and is designed to create an environment where business connections can happen away from the main show floor. VIP
benefits include a VIP Lounge in Tibidabo Suite and Garden, early access, hospitality throughout the day, dedicated space to work, meet and connect, all-access content pass, reserved seating for keynotes, VIP entry, and dedicated meeting rooms.
The initiative is positioned as more than a hospitality offering. Its purpose is to create the right environment for business relationships and connections. ISE VIP will be a pilot for 2027, with potential to develop further in future editions.
