Leyard Europe appoints Matthias Hartmann as DACH territory lead
Leyard Europe has appointed Matthias Hartmann as territory lead DACH as it expands its presence across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Hartmann brings more than 25 years of enterprise B2B technology sales experience, including 18 years with Dell Technologies across sales, management and international project roles. He later moved into professional displays as general manager
sales DACH at Sharp NEC Display Solutions.

In his new role, Hartmann will focus on developing Leyard’s business across the region, working with system integrators, distributors, consultants, planners and end users.

The company is targeting
opportunities in control rooms, corporate meeting and conference environments and broadcast, with additional team members also being recruited to strengthen local coverage and technical support.

Hartmann said: “DACH is an important and growing market
for Leyard, and we want to be closer to our customers and partners throughout the project lifecycle.

“That means being involved early, supporting planners and consultants with the technical detail they need, and working alongside
integrators to make sure projects are properly specified and delivered. Site reports, drawings, viewing distances, brightness, mounting, power and heat considerations are all part of the support we can provide.”

Leyard manufactures LED displays at
its European production facility in Slovakia and operates its own European service organisation.

Hartmann said the combination of local manufacturing, service capabilities and a broad display portfolio was a key factor in joining the company.

“Leyard Europe has an exceptional portfolio, with a solution for virtually every project requirement, from premium fine-pitch LED and COB through to all-in-one displays, LCD and video wall controllers,” he said.

He also highlighted
broadcast as a key application area, citing requirements including high image quality, high refresh rates and reliable operation.

Filip Cogghe, vice president - Europe at Leyard Europe, said: “DACH is an important growth market for
Leyard Europe, and strengthening our local presence is a key part of our strategy.

“Matthias brings a strong combination of enterprise technology experience, deep understanding of the professional AV channel and a real passion for technology.”
