Lightware has added AVIXA Renewal Units (RUs) to its Düsseldorf in-person training program, allowing AV professionals to earn professional development credits while building practical knowledge of Lightware technologies.
Located in Meerbusch, the Düsseldorf Training Centre (DTC) provides a dedicated environment for hands-on training delivered by Lightware experts.
For
AV professionals, maintaining industry knowledge is an ongoing process as technologies, standards and workflows continue to evolve. The addition of RUs gives
professionals a further incentive to develop their skills through Lightware Academy, with credits available across selected courses covering AV-over-IP, USB and
LARA.
The RU credits apply across the CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I and ANP domains, with attendees eligible for AVIXA RUs on the
following in-person courses:
· LARA Master – 8 RUs
· LARA Introduction – 8 RUs

USB & Taurus Master – 4 RUs
· 1/10 Gbps AV-over-IP Introduction – 4 RUs
· 1
Gbps AV-over-IP (GVN) Master – 4 RUs
Participants who complete a public in-person course at the Düsseldorf Training Center can
also purchase one of four product demo kits at 75% off the regular price: the GVN Kit, TPN Kit, Taurus TPX Kit
or LARA Kit. As part of Lightware’s ‘Bring the Hands-On Experience Home’ promotion, attendees can continue their learning beyond the training session.
