Marshmallow Laser Feast opens ‘All That Is Unseen’ exhibition in Qatar
Media Majlis Museum and ACMI have opened ‘All That Is Unseen’ by Marshmallow Laser Feast, the collective’s first major exhibition in Qatar, on view until January 21, 2027.

“All That Is Unseen” brings together artworks created in collaboration with an extraordinary network of artists, filmmakers, musicians, and scientists, including filmmaker Terrence Malick, the late producer
Edward R. Pressman, Cate Blanchett, Daisy Lafarge, Jon Hopkins, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Meredith Monk, Howard Skempton, and Jonny Greenwood.

The exhibition unfolds over ten key areas, comprising major video
works on a grand, awe-inspiring scale, guided meditation, and evocative works on paper. Visitors evolve from droplets of water to human cells and black holes, gaining a deeper understanding
of the natural world and our place within it.

Visitors can begin their journey with “Works of Nature”, this piece highlights breath as an eternal cycle of reciprocity,
and explore the process and practice of MLF in the “Science Behind the Sublime,” revealing the stories and technologies behind these incredible artworks. Another exhibit allows visitors to
journey through space to the edge of a black hole in “Distortions in Spacetime,” an immersive and interactive experience exploring the link between black holes, dying stars, and
the human body.

“Evolver: The Journey of Breath,” is a large-scale immersive installation that follows the path of oxygen as it travels throughout the lungs and heart, or lie
back and look up, following the path of oxygen as it is processed within cells, to become carbon dioxide in “Evolver: The Breathing Cell.”

“Evolver” is on show
in its original VR format and “The Tides Within Us,” is a large-scale still images revealing the rhythms of oxygen flowing through the branching ecosystem of the human body.
