Powersoft has signed a new agreement to supply amplification modules with Holoplot to develop a new immersive venue featuring “advanced technology”.
The agreement builds on the collaboration between Powersoft and Holoplot that began in 2019 and resulted in both companies working together to deliver the audio system at Sphere in Las
Vegas.
Holoplot was acquired by Sphere Entertainment in 2024 and continues to operate in Berlin as a wholly owned subsidiary of Sphere Entertainment.
For this new project, Powersoft will bring audio systems
for a venue that will “represent the new frontier of entertainment”, bringing Powersoft’s 16-channel amplifiers which are integrated into the Holoplot X1 audio system.
Powersoft will also supply its IPAL
(integrated powered adaptive loudspeaker) technology, used in the X1 system’s subwoofers. IPAL is designed to optimise low-frequency acoustic performance by responding to operating conditions in real time, improving the performance of the
system regardless of load and acoustic conditions.
The total value of the supply agreement is approximately 6 million Euros, with deliveries expected to take place in several tranches. The installation is
estimated to be completed during 2027, allowing Holoplot to complete its supply in line with the project schedule and the planned opening of the venue.
