The oldest fixed circus venue in Europe, the Riga Circus, underwent a transformation including a new audio system from K-array.
Local integrators RJK were supported by tech distributor Tet A Tek
and architectural firm NRJA, aimed to create a energy-efficient space that
could accommodate various performances, with two audio systems installed to meet the
venue’s specific needs, requiring a 360-degree coverage system and a portable system,
using K-array’s Mugello KH2 loudspeakers.
The portable system allows for streamlined
reconfiguration based on the stage’s location, with cabling running through the centre
of the venue to provide power flexibility.
?For the fixed installation, KGear’s
GH12 loudspeakers were arranged in clusters, covering the venue’s spherical shape.
K-array Kommander amplifiers were used to power the system, managed by K-Framework software.
