Sharp Europe has announced the appointment of Paul Yokoyama as European president. He will be responsible for the growth and development of Sharp’s European business, focusing on its established document solutions business, expanding its new unified IT services business and fully integrating its display portfolio.
He replaces Joe Tomota, who, after a successful
tenure as Sharp Europe President, will now take on
a new role as global head of Sharp’s smart
business solutions.
With extensive global experience spanning two decades
at Sharp, Yokoyama has worked in Europe and held
senior leadership positions in Japan, where he oversaw business
strategy and growth for the Middle East, Africa, Oceania
and Asia.
In his previous roles, Yokoyama also focused
primarily on streamlining business operations, business planning and profitability.
