Shure named a Leader in IDC MarketScape for AI-enabled meeting room hardware
Shure has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide AI-Enabled Smart Conference Room Hardware for Hybrid Meetings 2026 Vendor Assessment.

The report assesses vendors supplying conference room hardware designed to support hybrid meetings and increasingly AI-driven collaboration workflows.

IDC highlighted Shure’s expansion beyond audio into video, compute and cloud management, while retaining
a focus on speech capture and intelligibility in complex meeting environments.

For Shure, the growing use of AI in collaboration places greater importance on the quality of the audio entering platforms used for
transcription, speaker attribution, meeting summaries and other automated tools.

Gala Spasova, senior research manager at IDC, said: “Shure’s position as a Leader in this IDC MarketScape reflects how far the company has
expanded beyond its audio heritage.”

She added: “Shure has built a comprehensive workplace collaboration portfolio spanning audio, video, compute and cloud management.”

The report cited Shure’s suitability for large, complex and mission-critical environments
where consistent speech capture and scalable coverage are required.

It also highlighted the use of real-time talker-position data to support camera tracking in partner video systems, allowing organisations to improve speaker-focused video while
retaining flexibility over camera suppliers.

Shure’s portfolio spans audio, video and compute hardware alongside ShureCloud device management, with support for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Cisco Webex.

Microsoft Teams and Zoom can
run directly on Shure IntelliMix Room Kits and Foundation System products, while the Bar Pro runs Teams on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform.

Sam Sabet, executive VP and chief technology officer at
Shure, said: “Enterprise collaboration should be built as a platform, not a collection of individual meeting rooms.

“At Shure, we're building that platform with secure, manageable technology that can scale from an all-in-one
collaboration bar to a multi-camera system in a large, complex room.”

He added: “That gives IT a consistent foundation to scale while providing AI tools the high-quality inputs they need to do their job.”
