KYAF Corporation has completed Pakistan’s first JBL Professional BRX Series installation at Sialkot Medical College, delivering a new audio system for the institution’s 500-seat multipurpose auditorium.
The space is used for lectures, presentations, medical seminars, ceremonies, film screenings and live performances, requiring the system to move between speech-focused applications and higher-output entertainment programming.
KYAF designed the
installation around a common audio platform rather than separate systems for academic and performance use.
Primary audience reinforcement is provided by eight JBL Professional BRX308-LA line array elements, flown as
two arrays of four on either side of the stage.
Two BRX325SP powered subwoofers add low-frequency reinforcement for music, cinema playback and live events.
Coverage beyond the main arrays is handled
by four JBL Professional VXP715 loudspeakers positioned along the auditorium’s side walls, while two EON712 powered loudspeakers provide stage monitoring.
The microphone package combines two AKG CGN321 STS microphones for
lectures and formal presentations with two WMS470 wireless systems, two D5 microphones, six P4 instrument microphones and a P2 low-frequency instrument microphone.
A Soundcraft FX16ii mixing console manages microphones and programme
sources, while Crown XTi 4002 amplification supports the wider reinforcement system.
KYAF’s involvement covered system consultation and product selection through to installation, commissioning and ongoing support.
