Absen unveils Venus LED series at ISE 2020

Absen has launched its Venus series touring LED for rental stagers, featuring an integrated ‘module-on-frame’ design, removing the cabinet frame to create a lighter, 27.5 kg/sqm frame and allowing integrators to build an LED wall up to 20 metres in height.

The Venus series features a cabinet size of 1500 x 1000, available in two standard sizes: 1,500mm (W) x 1,000mm (H) and a 500mm x 1,000mm version, allowing for customised options. The series is available in 3.9mm, 4.8mm and 8.3mm pixel pitch versions with up to 5000 nits brightness and black face LED.

Concave and convex curving options can be enabled, with horizontal free-adjustable variances of -10 to +10 degrees, allowing fixed positioning at -10 degrees, -5 degrees, 0 degrees, +5 degrees and +10 degrees.

The LED panels are fitted with carbon fibre pipes with anti-slip coatings for climbers, with safety hooks which allow riggers to secure themselves during the building process.

A locking system with large handles is featured, able to be handled by operatives with thick gloves on, including colour-coded lock/unlock markers and vertical auto-lock.

A dolly system is also included, allowing for two rows and three columns to fit in a 40HQ container, allowing for 315 sqm of LED panels per truck, with wind bracing also available which is capable of withstanding gale force winds of up to level eight (39–46 mph).
