Arista has released its HDBaseT 2.0 line of transmitters/receivers.
The HDBaseT 2.0 line is comprised of four products: the ARD-0201-A00-RX dual HDBaseT inputs receiver, the ARD-1017-A00-TX HDBaseT transmitter with HDMI loopout, the ARD-0104-A10-TX featuring one HDMI input and a four HDBaseT transmitter splitter, as well as the ARD-0104-A11-TX, including one HDBaseT input and a four HDBaseT transmitter splitter.
The Arista Emerald series features a video source selection switch on some models, with the remote video sources able to be switched to HDMI output via RS-232 commands, Telnet or web-based control.
The video source will be selected and sent to the HDMI output when video source auto selection is enabled.
All models in the Emerald series have a built-in CEC command emulator, allowing a “TV on” CEC command to be sent to a TV display via an HDMI cable when one of the video source channels receives a video signal.
Auto-Standby can be enabled, allowing a “TV off” CEC command to be sent to turn the TV off in 30 seconds when no video signal is present.
TV displays can be turned on and off, with audio able to be muted via RS-232 commands, Telnet or web-based control.
Web control provides RS-232 control routing to either one of the remote HDBaseT transmitter/receiver’s RS-232, allowing an RS-232 command to be issued locally or from either one of the remote HDBaseT transmitter/receivers’ RS-232 port.
Firmware can be updated via the RS-232 interface locally or via RS-232 on the transmitter/receiver unit.
The Emerald series product family has a built-in IR emulator, capable of learning IR codes from the IR remote control and able to send IR commands via the IR emitter when the TV remote control functions cannot be achieved via CEC commands.
Web control also provides IR routing, with the IR signal able to be routed from either one of the transmitter/receiver’s IR port for an alternative TV control tool.
The USB connection on each model in the series can be routed to either one of the transmitter’s USB ports if remote USB accessibility is required.
Each model in the series also features PoE capability to power a remote transmitter or receiver and includes a built-in web server, allowing each model to be controlled via a common web browser.
