Audio-Technica has debuted its BP28 and BP28L Line + gradient large diaphragm condenser microphones, with a maximum SPL of 153dB with 10 dB per pad.
The BP28 is a 14-in condenser microphone, with the BP28L clocking in at a size of 22.4-in. Both microphones feature a large diaphragm condenser element with a 28mm diameter shotgun designed for low-noise performance.
Both models feature tight polar patterns and an acoustic port design that maintains directionality across the frequency range.
The BP28L offers a narrower directional pickup pattern than the BP28, with both microphones providing a flat frequency response as well as transformer-coupled outputs.
