Audinate has announced that its Brooklyn audio networking module now supports up to 64x64 discrete audio channels, double that of the existing module. The enhanced Brooklyn module is offered at a lower price than other comparable modules, according to the company.
Brooklyn gives OEMs the ability to incorporate a Dance digital audio networking solution, plus an AVB layer 2 ready implementation.
The new Brooklyn module offers a flexible range of 8x8 channels at the low end all the way up to 64x64 channels at the higher end. Many OEMs have already selected the module for their next generation audio networking and are designing the solution into their products.
