Crestron ships Avia amplifiers

Crestron is shipping AMP-8075 and AMP-8150 Avia multichannel amplifiers, designed to work natively with Crestron Avia DSPs, from the end of March.

The multichannel amps support applications requiring simultaneous low and high impedance speaker systems, as well as remote control and monitoring over the network.

AMP-8075 and AMP-150 are Class D, 8-channel, single rack units and offer a choice of 75 or 150 Watts per channel. Each channel is individually configurable for either low-Z (4/8 Ohm) or high-Z (70V or 100V). Ethernet LAN connectivity enables configuration, monitoring, and control via the Avia Audio Tool software, a Crestron control system, or Crestron Fusion Cloud.

The amplifiers have front panel status indication and output meters. Rear panels include balanced inputs and level adjustments. Both units have an internal universal power supply with power factor correction.

Crestron’s Avia Audio Tool software features channel-strip architecture with a range of built-in pro tools. The tool allows integration of Crestron touch screens without a central control system by dragging and dropping channel strip objects (from the DSP and amplifier) for control and to generate a touch screen UI.
