Denon release replaces old amp

Denon has released a new amp – replacing its PMA-100M model. The DN-A300M stereo installation amplifier targets small installations and claimed to provide improved mixing functionality and amplifier power when compared with the existing range.

A mic input mix with auto gain control is coupled with 100 watts per channel of power amplification. A ¼ inch / 6.35 mm jack mic input and level control enables a microphone signal to be mixed with other audio input sources. Switchable mic on/off, mic auto gain control, and music auto mute control enable reduction or muting of music input programme material when using a microphone. LED indicators show on/off status for the mic mix, auto gain control and music mute functions.

The input selector enables switching between aux, tuner cd, phono and tape 1 and 2 sources. Treble, bass, balance and master volume controls, an input level indicator, and switchable loudness button are also featured on the front fascia. Selectable A/B speaker circuits are supported, these are switchable from a front panel control, with LED indicators showing which circuit is active. IR remote control of the units functions is provided from the handset.
