Extron has confirmed that select models of the Fox3 fibre optic extenders and matrix switchers have been launched, supporting HDMI 2.0 data rates up to 18 Gbps and featuring HDCP 2.3 compliant for the transmission of uncompressed 4K/60 4:4:4 video over two fibres or over one fibre.
Built-in USB for KVM applications is included, with Extron’s Vector 4K scaling technology and audio breakaway, audio embedding/de-embedding, DMP and Dante integration.
The Fox3 series can distribute AV signals through modular matrix switchers from 8x8 to 320x320, with support for redundant power supplies, hot-swappable modules and Ethernet monitoring.
