JBL Professional has launched its VTX B28 subwoofer, a dual 18-in subwoofer with Differential Drive technology and SlipStream port technology.
The VTX B28 includes an integrated rigging system, allowing the B28 to be suspended in omnidirectional or cardioid arrays of up to 16 enclosures.
The B28 can integrate with HiQNet performance manager and line array calculator software, including the same features as A and B series loudspeakers.
The VTX B28 includes two JBL differential drive 2288H-M 18-in woofers, with a two-point rigging system using integrated levers and locks instead of quick release pins and retaining cables, enabling the B28 to be stacked vertically or horizontally using independent sets of feet on the bottom and sides.
Universal M20 mounts can be used with supported VTX accessories for constructing ground stacked arrays, with NL4 connectors on the front and rear of the unit for wiring in standard or cardioid configurations.
