JBL releases HiQnet Performance Manager 2.0

JBL Professional by Harman has announced the availability of its JBL HiQnet Performance Manager 2.0 software for configuring and controlling live sound systems.

The software features a redesigned interface to reduce the design time of operators monitoring touring and live performance sound systems. The interface guides the user through each function and provides goals for each stage of the setup.

Designed for networked audio systems in large venues, Performance Manager 2.0 features an integrated workflow paradigm and allows engineers to work through each stage of system configuration one step at a time.

Version 2.0 now has drag-and-drop speaker preset selection to allow any speaker to be connected to any amplifier channel, and create the custom preset configuration in the background to utilise channels.

JBL Line Array Calculator (LAC) integration has also been updated to import an array created in LAC into the software in one step. All circuiting information, level and EQ adjustments developed in LAC transfer to Performance Manager and then to the amplifiers without having to manually move the parameters over from one software program to the other.
