Matrox has released its QuadHead2Go Q155 multi-monitor controller card, designed to power up to four full HD displays from one HDMI video source including HDCP devices.
The controller card is designed to integrate with Matrox-based or third-party platforms, capable of capturing one video signal of up to 4Kp60 and 8Kx8K for display across up to four screens at resolutions up to 1920x1200 per output.
Input content can be provided from HDMI sources such as digital signage players, media players and laptops, with displays able to be arranged in a variety of configurations including rectangular 2x2, 2x1, 3x1, 4x1, 1x2, 1x3 or 1x4 setups.
Pairs of multiple QuadHead2Go units can be used to add more displays and/or combine with Matrox D-Series quad-4K graphics cards to power up to 64 1920x1080p60 monitors from one system.
On-device control buttons are available, allowing users to cycle through pre-set configurations to select and set display louts and fine-tine bezels.
HDCP support is also provided to display content from HDCP compliant devices.
