Meyer Sound increases long-range line-up

Loudspeaker manufacturer, Meyer Sound said it had added to its highly focussed long-range loudspeakers with the SB-3F field synthesis model. The product is designed for projecting mid- and high-frequency energy over distances up to 1km.

The SB-3F employs 448 high-powered one-inch neodymium transducers purpose-built to create a highly directional wavefront.

A multichannel, high-powered class AB/H amplifier is incorporated in the product’s design, as well as on-board circuitry, to deliver 9,000 watts of power. The SB-3F is compatible with Milo line array loudspeakers, and Meyer Sound’s RMS remote monitoring system.

The product can be custom painted and a weather-protected version, with rain hoods and a wood-treated enclosure is available. The optional MYA-SB-2 mounting yoke assembly allows the SB-3F to be tilted for accurate aiming, and provides attachment points to mount multiple units horizontally or vertically.
