Mitsubishi launches projector for education sector

Mitsubishi has introduced the WD390U-EST ultra-short throw projector that doesn’t require a computer to be attached.

The “Cloud Projector” uses a built-in, thin client function to serve as a dynamic display device. Users log onto a network and begin displaying content, whether from a local sever, the internet or the cloud, giving teachers and presenters access to files directly through the projector itself.

It has been designed for classrooms or small meeting rooms using DLP technology and by using the free SidePad and WiFi Doc applications which allow teachers and presenters to use mobile devices to access, mirror and control a computer that is connected to the projector and the same Wi-Fi network.
