Muxlab has released its model 500812 network controller, designed to bring MuxLab AV over IP-connected equipment installed on a local area network (LAN), allowing each device to be accessible from remote locations when using the MuxControl App via a smart phone or tablet.
The network controller runs on a Linux-based system and features an auto-discovery feature that scans the network and automatically identifies MuxLab AV over IP equipment, allowing users to configure and control the products and connected devices such as sources and displays through the controller.
Users can create videowalls and virtual matrixed systems, with tasks able to be configured and saved as presets to be recalled instantly.
RS232 and IR commands can be to Muxlab AV over IP devices to turn connected AV products, such as sources and displays, on and off.
The 500816-IP is compatible with the MuxControl App for Ios and Android, supporting the features of the network controller from any smart phone or tablet, with a graphical interface that replicates installations by uploading a photo of the environment.
Preloaded interior layout can be used to create new layouts, with source equipment automatically colour coded. Colour coding allows displays to toake on the source’s colour when connected, with rooms able to be configured and navigated by swiping from room to room.
The network controller is also managed with MuxLab’s model 500816 IP IP PoE control panel, with each button being programmable to allow integrators to harness IP, RS-232, IR and Relay based commands that manage the network controller and controllable devices.
