NEC adds short-throw projectors

NEC Display Solutions Europe has added three new short-throw projectors to its M Series projector range, suitable for interactive applications in classrooms and corporate meeting rooms.

The NEC M352WS, M302WS and M322XS all use wide-angle lenses, a sealed DLP light engine, and an interactive multi-pen option.

The NEC M352WS and M302WS have a native wide-screen resolution of 1280x800 and a brightness of 3,500 and 3,000 lumens respectively. The M322XS has a native resolution of 1024x768 and a brightness of 3,300 lumens.

DisplayNote NEC Edition Presenter software comes free with each projector purchase until May 2014. DisplayNote allows users to connect, control and present from a tablet or smart phone. Optional multi-user licences add the possibility to share content with other participant devices and opens up a number of collaborative scenarios locally, as well as with remote locations in the cloud.

A new optional interactive Multi-Pen will become available in April, 2014.  The new NEC M2 Series short-throw projectors will be available across Europe from March 2014.

NEC Display Solutions Europe offers a three-year pan-European service warranty and the lamp is covered for six months or 1,000 hours, whichever comes first. Education customers can register to have the lamp warranty extended to 3 years / 3,000 hours, as well as other benefits.
