Netgear has unveiled its GS324P and GS324PP 24-port gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged series PoE+ switches, with the GS324P allowing 190W PoE budget and 16 ports PoE+ with eight non-PoE ports.
The GS324PP features a 380W PoE power budget across all 24 ports to connect to existing core networks.
Netgear’s ‘PoE power auto-balance and allocation’ PoE technology is featured in both models, automatically balancing the PoE power allocated to each port based on the device needs independent of the detected PoE class.
Both the GS324P and GS324PP include the same features of Netgear’s Unmanaged 300 series switches, with monitoring of port activity, speed and PoE indication included as well as monitoring of power, fan status and PE max system LEDs to indicate when the full PoE budget has been used up.
The 24 auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports also feature up to 48Gb non-blocking switching.
