Optimal Audio has debuted its Amp series of two-channel amplifiers, launching three new class A/B models.
The Amp series consists of the Amp 100 (X2 350W at four Ohms), Amp 200 (X2 700W at four Ohms) and Amp 300 (X2 1350W at four Ohms), available in both 120V 60Hz and 230v 50/60Hz models to accommodate various international power standards.
Each model is designed to reliably power the range of Optimal Audio’s Cuboid point source loudspeaker series and their subwoofer counterparts from the Sub series.
When used with Zone controllers, the complete system can access a suite of Optimal Audio loudspeaker presets, limiters, and time of day routines, configurable via Zone’s onboard WebApp.
Each model includes indicator LEDs for status monitoring of each amplifier channel on the front panel, with two balanced XLR ¼-in jack ‘combi’ line input connectors, as well as output options including speakON or binding posts, offering installers the flexibility to choose a preferred connection method for a specific setup.
The amplifiers can also be configured for various applications using stereo, bridge or parallel mode, selectable via a switch on the rear panel.
