Optimal Audio to debut Talk 8 paging system at ISE 2025

Optimal Audio will launch its Talk 8 eight-zone paging system, adding paging to the Optimal Audio ecosystem.

The paging system features 4gb of memory, enabling stored content to be assigned to any of the six instant message playback buttons on the device. Content can be scheduled via Optimal Audio’s webapp for automatic playback as part of a time-of-day routine.

Optional pre-announcement chimes are available, with a backlit talk button included with latching and non-latching options.

Users can independently page individual, or multiple zones simultaneously, with users having the option to select and define zone groups for customised communication.

Optimal Audio’s webapp enables simplified configuration for the scheduling of message routines, or for control of paging priorities to suit a venue’s requirements.

Up to two digital paging stations can be supported when working in tandem with Optimal Audio Zone controllers.

The Talk 8 is fitted with a gooseneck microphone, Mic 1, with standardised mounting options for use with a variety of mounts and brackets. Power is delivered via a locking RJ45 connector from the Zone controller paging port, as well as USB-C connectivity for firmware updates and loading audio files.
