Panasonic has released the LF60/LF6 series of LED backlight LCD displays, with the introduction of two 55in, two 47in, and two 42in models.
The 55in models (TH-55LF60 and TH-55LF6), the 47in models (TH-47LF60 and TH-47LF6) and the 42in units (TH-42LF60 and TH-42LF6) all include the Digital Link function.
The LF60 models offer 700-cd/m brightness with the LF6 models offer 450-cd/m.
The Digital Link function offers the capability to transmit video, audio and control signals over distances of up to 100m with a single LAN cable.
The LF60/LF6 series can be operated continuously for 24/7 use, making them suitable for verticals such as transportation and restaurant facilities.
The LF60/LF6 professional displays can be installed either horizontally or vertically to match the content and installation location. All models are equipped with 10w built-in speakers so there is no need for external speakers when using content that has a soundtrack.
The 47in and 42in screens will be available in November 2013 with the 55in screens will be introduced in December.
