RCF has debuted its precision transducers series, launching six new models of compression drivers.
Two titanium compression drivers, the NDT895 and NDT995 compression drivers come in three-in and four-in titanium dome sizes, suitable for professional line arrays and point source applications. Both models feature a Kapton former and a four-slot phase plug, offering minimal distortion across the operation bandwidth.
Featuring a 3.0-in and 4.0-in titanium dome respectively, the models offer 240W and 280W continuous program power at eight Ohms, with a recommended frequency range between 500Hz and 20 kHz.
New PKX compression drivers are available, with the NDX595, NDX495 neodymium magnets and CDX495 with ceramic magnets for small two-way cabinet designs and three-way loudspeaker systems. Featuring a 1.75-in PKX dome with polyimide surround, these models offer 140W continuous program power handling at eight Ohms, with a frequency range between 1kHz and 20 kHz.
RCF has also debuted its CDK455 Kapton compression driver, with a 1.75-in Kapton dome, for point source two-way cabinet designs, with a new voice-coil design with Polyimide-Kapton dome featuring a bonding technology and reinforced ribs for increased durability.
The transducer utilises ceramic magnets and a two-slot phase plug to deliver power handling, sensitivity, and low distortion across its operating bandwidth.
