Revolabs, a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation, has announced it will feature the new Yamaha CS-700 Video Sound Collaboration System at UC Expo 2017, May 17-18 at ExCel London. Revolabs will also showcase its UC family of USB, VoIP, and Bluetooth conference phones.
The Yamaha CS-700 brings together audio, video, and collaboration capabilities in a wall-mounted system. It features a Revolabs beamforming microphone array, and an integrated USB port to connect to UC platforms such as Microsoft Skype for Business, Cisco Spark, GoToConference, Google Chromebox for Meetings, Vidyo, WebEx, Zoom, BlueJeans, and others.
The unit's special wide-angle video camera captures all meeting participants in the room. Over the same USB connection to their laptop or tablet, users can join a meeting. This plug-and-play approach allows users to get started without wrestling with disparate video, audio, and collaboration components in the room, thus eliminating complex steps from the process that can waste valuable meeting time or require the assistance of on-call IT staff. In addition, the CS-700's integrated network management system allows IT staff to remotely manage each unit from one location, increasing service response and efficiency.
