RØDE introduces free software for streaming

RØDE has released Connect software for podcasting and streaming with the NT-USB Mini.

Offering a recording interface inspired by the RØDECaster Pro, the ability to connect up to four NT-USB Minis to a single computer, seamless integration with video call and streaming applications, RØDE Connect offers a simple way to livestream audio.

Features of RØDE Conect include the ability to connect up to four NT-USB Minis to one computer. It is free and versions for Mac and PC are available. It includes a recording interface with broadcast-style faders, level metering, mute buttons, and more. Using the NT-USB Mini’s internal digital signal processing power, one-click gives access to a noise gate, compressor and Aphex Aural Exciter and Big Bottom effects.  Virtual channels connect remote guests, and users can integrate streaming applications, and add music beds and other external audio.
