Smart-E will launch two new products at ISE 2008. The company will be showcasing a new compact short-range transmitter (the Smart-e SLX-50) which offers a convenient 19-inch rack mounting option for installers. The transmitter feeds into a VGA matrix and distributes A/V signals over Cat5 cables. Due to its compact size and affordability the SLX- 50 has many multi-room applications.
The second product to be shown will be the Cat 5 input module, which provides a flexible method of mixing local and '‘remote†sources through one matrix. The input module plugs into the HD15 input connector on the matrix, allowing connection to the display device without the need to convert back to standard video
connections.
