Vision has announced the Techconnect TC2 HDMIIP, a transmitter receiver set which sends HDMI signals over a standard IP network.
Suited to digital signage applications, this is a plug and play product requiring no networking expertise. The signal can be safely passed through three network switches, and there is no cable length restriction as the signal is transmitted in TCP/IP packets via JPEG compression.
The HDCP compliant technology supports resolutions up to 1080p.
