Vision Techconnect Control software transitions to cloud-based system

Vision has announced an upgrade to its Techconnect Control programming software, providing a cloud-based experience for deploying large scale roll-outs.

The upgraded Vision Techconnect Control now features a browser-based interface, maintaining the familiarity of the previous application, ensuring integrators that are accustomed to the old system can transition to the enhanced software.

The expansion of the IR and RS-232 database enhances the software's capabilities. To keep up with evolving technology, the system uses crowd-sharing, allowing the library to grow dynamically with the introduction of new codes.

The new system allows users to share configurations quickly via a link. Additionally, each configuration comes with an associated changelog, ensuring communication during the integration process. For those who prefer a more traditional approach, configurations can be saved as JSON files and conveniently shared via email.

The upgraded software streamlines trouble-shooting procedures, providing integrators with a smoother programming experience. Programming codes, including IR codes, can now be copied and pasted, significantly accelerating the setup process.

The new software is developed specifically for the upcoming Techconnect Control, scheduled for release in December, but Vision ensures backward compatibility with the current product version, further extending the value to existing users.

To ensure a flawless launch, Vision is actively seeking integrators to participate in road-testing the beta version of the software. Interested parties are encouraged to provide valuable feedback by reaching out to sales@visionaudiovisual.com.
