Teq AV/IT says its HDMI extender over single CAT6 cable is HDCP 1.3 (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) and DDC (Digital Data Channel) compatible. The company claims to have resolved the problem of dual cable and HDCP/DDC with the introduction of TPH372.
HD CAT One technology has allowed Teq AV/IT to develop a smart learning transmitter that will provide a display’s DDC information to the source. Once initialised with a display the transmitter of TPY372 can be attached to HD sources.
The TPH372 allows HD signal from HDMI sources up to 130â€(40m) at 1080p or 170†at 1080i or 200†at 720p over single UTP cable. With equalisation and gain settings, the product allows the display of high-definition image from HDMI or DVI sources to a compatible display through a single UTP cable.
