When two become one

Teq AV/IT says its HDMI extender over single CAT6 cable is HDCP 1.3 (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) and DDC (Digital Data Channel) compatible. The company claims to have resolved the problem of dual cable and HDCP/DDC with the introduction of TPH372.

HD CAT One technology has allowed Teq AV/IT to develop a smart learning transmitter that will provide a display’s DDC information to the source. Once initialised with a display the transmitter of TPY372 can be attached to HD sources.

The TPH372 allows HD signal from HDMI sources up to 130”(40m) at 1080p or 170” at 1080i or 200” at 720p over single UTP cable. With equalisation and gain settings, the product allows the display of high-definition image from HDMI or DVI sources to a compatible display through a single UTP cable.
