XTA and MC 2 are building on the Delta Series of digital processing amplifiers with the launch of 120 Amps that will be shown at this year’s ProLight + Sound show in Frankfurt.
The two channel products, to be shown in Hall 3.1 on stand F03, will be available as Delta 120 and DNA120 models from MC 2 and XTA respectively. They have 96kHz Dante inputs as an option and both will deliver over 7000W/Ch. into 2 Ohms and 5000W/CH. into 4 Ohms.
In addition to the new 120 Amps, XTA will be showing the recently introduced DPA and DNA ranges of amplifiers.
DPA amplifiers, designed to complement the APA Series, are built on XTA’s DSP platform. The products accept analogue, AES3 digital and optional Dante networked audio and can connect to any source and make it available over the network. They can process four additional channels with local analogue outputs to connect to DNA Series (or any traditional) amplifiers. Additionally, the auxiliary output channels are fed back onto the Dante network.
All input processing channels feature a suite of XTA EQ as well as dynamic EQ, and all eight output processing channels can include FIR filter data, and will accept industry standard presets created for XTA’s other processors.
All non-DSP DNA amplifiers may include a 2/4 channel 96kHz Dante input option (switchable back to regular two/four channel analogue if needed). A single network cable can then be used to connect the processed audio from a DPA amplifier to any number of DNA amplifiers to achieve the power levels required.
Connectivity for remote control is covered by Ethernet, USB and RS485, with relay of either USB or Ethernet control via RS485 to work with legacy products. Configuration amplifier processing is through the industry standard AudioCore application, with tuning and monitoring of a network of DPA (and MC 2 Delta DSP) amplifiers handled wirelessly by the DeltaDirect iPad app.
