Amscreen has revealed that it has terminated its sales agency agreement with Digicom Out Of Home Digital Media Limited (Digicom) and temporarily suspended the advertising of its network of forecourt screens.
The announcement follows the filing of a Notice of Intention to
Appoint an Administrator by Digicom on Friday 13 May, 2016. Amscreen state
it was informed by Digicom after this that payments due to Amscreen
under the terms of our various agreements would not be paid.
They
add that they worked Digicom and their proposed administration team to attempt
to resolve the issue, however were unable to reach a mutually acceptable
position.
Amscreen’s existing contractual relationships with network partners are unaffected by the
recent development.
The company state they are now considering its position and
options regarding advertising sales on its network following the “unexpected development" with Digicom.
