APG has extended its distribution network into Scandinavia, signing Copenhagen company, PSS Professional Sound Systems.
The distributor, based in Rødovre just outside Copenhagen, will take on the full APG equipment including the Uniline system
with full APG racks (amplifiers and DSP) as well as the complete range of DX loudspeakers, SMX15 stage monitors and
a number of dedicated installation products.
Torben Aalykke, sales director at PSS, said: “A significant factor in our decision
to invest in APG for the Danish market was the reaction of a number of our clients to the demos.
“We invited a number of high level live sound engineers including those who work in TV to an APG demo
in Paris, and they were genuinely impressed by what they’d heard.â€
Lars Ømann, CEO of PSS, believes the APG deal
will propel his company into the pro audio sector. “Technically, APG’s products are superbly designed and engineered, and we
couldn’t have asked for better support,†he said.
Bruno Garros, VP of global sales at APG, added: “From a corporate
perspective, our presence in Scandinavia now assures us a global presence throughout northern and southern Europe which is entirely consistent with our international business plan.â€
