Market research firm, Fact.MR, has released a report that predicts that the AR glasses market is expected to be worth 65 billion Euros by 2023, expanding at a CAGR of 16.6% over ten years.
The report states that 93% of significant industrial firms
are believed to use smart eyewear wearable devices for the
operations, with the German AR market predicted to expand at
a CAGR of 85.2%.
The news follows comments made by
Apple CEO Tim Cook, who reiterated Apple’s support for
AR and VR technology.
While many companies, including Facebook and
Amazon are working on their own AR/VR products, Google recently
scrapped its Google Enterprise smart glasses, marking the end of
the road for one of the first AR smart glasses lines.
