Audio-Technica showed off its U855QL gooseneck microphone at Prolight+Sound, in Frankfurt last week.
It can be used for talk-back,
paging and dispatch and is suitable for entertainment,
commercial and industrial applications.
A low-profile element
provides a uniform cardioid polar pattern with a
120-degree acceptance angle. Tailored frequency response ensures
excellent isolation and intelligibility in environments with excessive
ambient noise. An XLRM-type connector inserted at
the base allows the microphone to be plugged
directly into an XLRF-type panel jack or microphone cable.
