A Matrox Graphics training progamme will offer RU credits for CTS holders after the manufacturer landed AVIXA accreditation for the course.
The “Matrox Knowledge Net: Tips and Techniques for AV-over-IP Training Program” offers short seminars that Matrox
says are quicker than many manufacturer-centric classes.
They cover the fundamentals of AV/IP, streaming protocols, how to join
end-points, image properties and sampling, scaling of distributed images and compression.
Cecilia Wills, country manager at Matrox
Graphics, said: “The new AVIXA accreditation is a testament to the concerted efforts of our in-house industry experts,
who are well-versed in the latest trends and developments, and willing to share their knowledge on all
things AV over IP.
“This is especially critical in the face of competing ‘truths’ in the industry, where
AV professionals are constantly trying to separate fact from fiction. The Knowledge Net provides an opportunity for
attendees to address these gaps, with an eye on their AV-over-IP road maps and installations.”
The 2018 Matrox
Knowledge Net seminars will take place will take place in the Matrox London office starting in Spring 2018.
