Barco boosts sales channel for rugged displays
Barco is pushing rugged displays in the UK and Benelux with the appointment of Acal BFi as a European distributor.

Acal BFi, a division of Acal plc, will offer design-in and
support services for security, defence, oil and gas, maritime and mining industries.

Solomon, vice-president of worldwide sales for Barco’s Defense division said: "Up till
now, our rugged displays were sold using a direct sales force. Barco is
now also building up a network of leading distribution partners locally around
the world, thus helping us to increase our customer touch points and grow
our business.

By appointing a number of partners in all geographic regions,
we will be able to further increase the service level to our existing
customer base and grow our market reach even beyond the defence and security market."
