Barco has announced that is has relocated its Fredrikstad offices to a new building that will house the company’s second-largest projection research and development facility.
Barco's new Norwegian headquarters was purposely built to accommodate high-tech research, testing,
and service operations, bringing together various engineering disciplines, including optics, mechanics, thermal,
electronics, software, and test and validation.
It is equipped with facilities such as
an electromagnetic compatibility chamber and climate chamber. The new Norwegian headquarters has over
60 employees and aims to foster economic growth in the area by
hiring globally while employing locally.
Thor Gjerløw, site manager at Barco Fredrikstad, said:
"Our new headquarters in Fredrikstad represents our commitment to innovation and our dedication
to providing our team with the best resources to make a lasting
impact in the industry and in the area, all while achieving our sustainability ambitions."
