Berlin activists hijack DOOH projection system
Objecting to a new installation of projected digital media on the Berlin underground, a German-based art / activism collective calling itself “post” has come up with an inventive way to disrupt the projection in a non-destructive manner. A combination of mirrors, to break up the video image; magnets to attach the device to the projector mounting; and duct-tape to build the chassis, were used to deploy the devices.

We would like
to point out
that InAVate does not
condone these activities, however
creative they are,
but it does suggest
that the growth of
digital display devices
outdoors is not universally welcomed!
