Fake Shure, Sennheiser, Yamaha and Harman audio products were seized in a police raid on a Chinese factory manufacturing the knock-off goods.
The factory, known as Enping Soundpu Electronics Equipment
(also trading as Voxpu Electronics Equipment) was raided in
October 2018 after an onsite enforcement action initiated by
Shure.
The factory is a well-known counterfeiter and a
repeat offender that is well known to local
authorities in the region.
Soundpu was fined in August
2018 by the Enping Administration of Industry and Commerce
after fake Shure wireless microphones were found at the
factory premises during a market investigation earlier in the year.
