Christie has expanded its distribution agreement with UK based Audio Visual Materials (AVM) to include its LCD projector range. The inclusion of Christie’s fixed installation product marks the extension of a successful partnership that began between the two companies when AVM took on distribution of single and three chip projection solutions in January 2008.
Joe Graziano, UK channel sales manager, explained: “AVM has had success with
the previous offering and has proved itself a company easy to work with, technically
knowledgeable and simple to do business with. They were a natural choice to
take on the LCD projection line as AVM maintains the integrity of the
Christie partner relationship within their own channel.”
Mark Nisbet, managing director of AVM said
the agreement would directly benefit his customers. “The new agreement means we will
be able to protect the margin for our customers as Christie’s UK distributor.
Resellers can work with AVM as a ‘one stop shop’ for the complete Christie
range and receive our pre and post sales support, such as free on-site warranty support.”
