Christie appointed Maverick Presentation Products, as a UK distributor, on June 3, 2008 in a bid to push into the corporate IT market. Maverick, part of the Tech Data Group, will offer UK resellers the full range of Christie’s LCD and 1-chip DLP projection systems.
The distribution agreement is claimed to offer more resellers, active in the
audiovisual market, access to Christie’s leading product lines. In addition, Maverick said it can
offer Christie partners pre- and post sales support.

“This agreement will increase Christie’s
presence in the market and make our solutions more accessible to partners throughout
the UK. We’re confident that this will be a positive move for us and
for our partners,†he added.
Jon Sidwick, director of Maverick said the agreement
was “a significant breakthroughâ€.
He concluded: “By adding the Christie’s LCD and DLP offerings
to our growing portfolio, we are extending the choice we offer to resellers addressing the professional sector.â€
