The company has updated its DM Certification courses to include 4K training and its web-based DM Certified Designer – 4K: DMC-D-4K course, which provides an
introduction to the design process, looks at the impact of HDCP and EDID on UHD resolutions as well as 1080p.
Its DM Certified Engineer –
4K: DMC-E-4K builds on the DMC-D-4K class with detailed product, connectivity, and cabling infrastructure knowledge. Crestron also provides remote learning for DMC-D and DMC-E certification holders
to keep up to date via an online training academy.
Crestron has also introduced a two day Fusion course with step-by-step guides and procedures
for efficient programming. Challenges regarding different IT infrastructures are also covered and the course aims to teach delegates how to communicate with IT teams, perform SIMPL
programming, schedule panel integration and set up a Windows Server to successfully install Crestron Fusion.
The company’s new training hub in Cobham, UK has programming
pods, design interfaces and dummy racks. Training facilities have also been updated in the company’s Middle East headquarters and will soon be installed in Germany.
The
manufacturer also offers training at installer offices around the UK. The first was held at UK integrator AVM Impact’s HQ in Middlesex.
Jared Lancaster, CTO
