Dekom has launched a Furniture & Technology division to match furniture production and design with videoconferencing, media and audio technologies.
The European AV service provider will offer an interdisciplinary team of experts to
co-ordinate complex conferencing projects and communicate with stakeholders, trades, providers and suppliers involved.
Torsten Benkstein,
furniture and technology specialist at Dekom, said: "Typically, when planning a conference room, you
meet and negotiate with architects, facility managers, system integrators, etc... various experts from different,
each isolated disciplines.
"Many companies thereby painfully experience that tensions or misunderstandings between these parties
can rapidly - and significantly - affect their project duration, cost and quality. This
is exactly where we step in: as a Dekom customer, you have only one
single, direct point of contact for all trades, for both furniture and technology, and obtain
everything - from furniture design, through production, up to installation - from one single source."
