Digigram has formally acquired Ecrin Video & Broadcast, a division of Ecrin Systems based in Crolles near Grenoble, France.
The move heralds Digigram’s entry into the video market with the acquisition of Ecrin V&B’s product portfolio and the specialised
team behind it, who will be integrated into the Digigram team at Digigram’s HQ near Grenoble.
Ecrin Video & Broadcast is a
designer and manufacturer of professional video compression solutions to transport video content over IP. Supporting all standards for broadcast, IPTV, WebTV
and Telco operations, from HD to low bit rate formats, Ecrin V&B’s streaming encoder, decoder, transcoder and archiving systems are designed to
be the bridge between video media and the IP world.
