Digital Projection goes viral with Mapping Pasteur
The hometown of the father of microbiology, Louis Pasteur, celebrated the bicentenary of his birth with a Digital Projection video-mapping show, providing insight into Pasteur’s life.

Mapping Pasteur transformed the façade of
the 17th-century Hôtel-Dieu de Dole was mapped
with two Titan projectors from Digital Projection,
supplied by Pageuax and Thorsten Hoffmann, ETA
International. The Titans were installed in
a six-metre-high tower, set up to project
47 metres onto the left side of
the Hôtel-Dieu.

The projectors are supported by
four Turbosound speakers positioned on the Hôtel-Dieu’s balconies.
